Construction Site Health and Safety Awareness

Designed to provide Health & Safety Awareness for all those working in construction, this 1 day course provides the elements required to achieve the safety element of the Construction Skills Certification Scheme registration certificate

The course will start at 9.00am and finish at 5.00pm with breaks mid-morning and afternoon with 45 minutes for lunch.

SYLLABUS:

· Health and Safety Legislation

· The Cost of Accidents and Accident Prevention

· Personal Protective Equipment

· Noise

· Manual Handling

· Fire and Fire Prevention

· Working at Heights and Scaffolds

· Electricity, Site Electric’s and Portable Electrical Equipment and Tools

· Use of Hand Held Tools

· Safe Use of Chemicals and COSHH

· Overhead and Underground Services

· Excavations

 

This 1 day Course will be held at THE CLEVE HOTEL & COUNTRY CLUB, Mantle Street, WELLINGTON, Somerset, on Thursday 24th September 2009. The day will include tea/coffee on arrival and mid morning, a 2-course lunch and afternoon refreshments. Comprehensive notes will be provided to all delegates.

There is a maximum course loading of 20 delegates on a first come first served basis.

This course provides the underpinning knowledge to enable delegates to sit the CITB CSCS examination

 

The all-inclusive rate of £150.00 + vat per delegate will be payable at the time of booking
