Description:             The Stable block and Coach house is an essential element of the 536 acre Tyntesfield Estate, six miles southwest of Bristol. It was here that the Gibbs family kept their horses, coaches and pack of hunting hounds.

The Stable block, coach house and kennels have been restored. The flat above the stable block has been converted into bedrooms and communal rooms for volunteers and students who choose to live in whilst working or studying at Tyntesfield.

Work has had to be carried out so as not to disrupt the roosting cycle of the bats that live in the roof area

Situation:                  Completed 2009
